Intellectual Property Rights in Technoparks

Training on "Intellectual Property Rights in Technology Parks" Held at Çorum Technology Park

A training program on "Intellectual Property Rights in Technology Parks," organized for companies operating within the Çorum Technology Park, was held with great interest from the participants. The presentation was given by Burcu Kabakdere, Deputy Director of the Hitit University Technology Transfer Office (TTO).

The program covered current developments and application processes related to the protection of patents, trademarks, design registrations, and copyrights, as well as the commercialization of these rights, in detail. Burcu Kabakdere shared comprehensive information on how companies can protect their innovative ideas and designs, how to register these rights, and what they should pay attention to during the commercialization phase.

Throughout the training, the strategic advantages that intellectual and industrial property rights provide to businesses were emphasized. Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions based on practical problems their own companies faced and receive direct solution suggestions on the subject. Thus, the training was completed interactively, encompassing both theoretical and practical aspects.

The Çorum Technopark management thanked Burcu Kabakdere for her contributions to the program and expressed their satisfaction with the participation of all company representatives who showed interest in the event. Technopark officials stated that such trainings will continue in the coming periods and that efforts to improve the innovative capacities of companies in the region will continue.
